I’m a Kansas City-based writer and social media professional from Omaha, Nebraska. I am a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Journalism and Mass Media.
Currently, I’m a Social Manager at advertising agency BarkleyOKRP, in the social media FUEL department. As a scoial manager, I ideate and schedule organic content on behalf of clients, collect user-generated content, and serve as a subject matter expert for the ever-changing landscape of social media.
I was was the Social Media / Newsletter Producer for KCUR, Kansas City’s NPR station from December 2022 to May 2025. I was the managing editor and the editor for the Arts and Entertainment section of Roo News (UMKC’s paper) from Fall 2021 to Spring 2022.
I have also served as an editor at Ringtone Mag, an online DIY music publication, and I’m a freelance writer available for commission.
I have a passion for writing about music and specializes in writing about pop, hip hop and electronic music, culminating in a breadth of knowledge about niche internet music genres and unique facets of music history.
